your contribution has been minimal based on the number of postings.

It goes deeper than that. Even if an elite trader were to share material with you, most likely you will still fail due to character flaws within yourself. Not modest enough. Not disciplined enough. Not assiduous enough.

just wondering about a story today on CNBC which implied that Man may be the next Refco. One broker has already been suspended. Should traders be worried about their funds?

Zdreg, looking for that 1% is like looking for a needle in a haystack. It just would not be worth my time to share my knowledge from 10 years in fx with the fx traders here.

From what I have seen, it shouldn't be 1%. That is too much. Try .1%. That is more realistic.

Actually, when I see a stock price doing something unexplainable to me I definitely do not come to ET to find out what is up, I go to the Yahoo message board and sometimes I get some really excellent info after wading through a hundred posts calling bullshit on each other of course. Here, you would only get 3 people calling bullshit on each other and no good answer, so take your pick.

I find it amusing how some of you trash ET, yet you keep coming back to it.

I enjoy sifting through ET threads looking for information. I find people who are knowledgeable and attempt to learn from them. If possible I try to incorporate their ideas onto my overall system/strategy (or at least keep their ideas in mind for a later date when I will be able to make use of it). There is a lot of information here.

  10. Nice positive thinking here Ozzy. Most people only look for the bad things on here instead of seeking out things that could make them a better trader. I guess thats why so many fail at this business!:D
