Where has all the volume gone?

It's just computers trading to computers now. Everyone else is out of it.

volume is still volume regardless

 

Stock777 keeps saying "unlimited upside! buy the dips!" He's kinda right in that prices keep going up, but there's less and less volume behind it.

HAHA. for months i was saying volume has fled the small cap..that was the first to be hit as investors/hedge funds withdrew from the markets. People brushed me off, now you see the disease has spread to the big caps/mega caps, we will eventually see a NYSE daily volume of 300-500 million. that will be considered NORMAL.

 

so what is your back up plan when daytrading becomes impossible?
