Perhaps one day I will write a long post on what what I've learned over the course of my trading career. It's not as much as one might imagine.
Yes, you are correct, it wasn't clear. BTW here is site that clarifies jaguars being called tigers in Belize. Look under the wildlife section. http://www.wavelengthmagazine.com/1998/on98belize.php
IMO most good traders don't really have complicated system...that is probally why you can distill what you deem to be important in one long post. I am sure some would like to see that post!
I'm 23 year olds and came to USA in 2000. I've been dreaming about becoming a trader since 9th grade (after reading the book Liar's poker in Vietnamese). First trade was September 2003. I had some up and down, but overall was good until I blew off 35% of my account in April 2005 . I took a break from trading for my graduation (Indiana University: finance and CIS). Moved to NYC and started trading FX in September 2005. So far, I lost 11lbs and still in the red zone but the dream is still here. Long term goal is trading remote from Hanoi, Vietnam if I ever make it. PS: Hi to Deptrai my fellow Vietnamese
Mafia, why in the world would you want to trade from Ha Noi? It takes years to make it in forex, young man. Keep your ego small. Keep reading. Have an openmind. Listen to the market. Always evaluate your trading. Work hard. And maybe someday you will realize your dream.
Maybe someone should start a Geezer thread... like minimum age 50. (Anybody that old and trading has likely been at it a long time... can't imagine anyone foolish enough to start at that age.)
+ africa maybe s. america - im not 100% on that though. a jaguar is not a tiger. just like an elephant is not a giraffe.
I would guess you are probably correct. I think it is also safe to assume that many successful traders prefer to remain low-key to avoid being pestered. I don't blame them one bit.
