Where do you find dates for important international events?

So there are plenty of sites with calendars for U.S. economic reports, how about international events such as this past EU Summit? Also on the side, any sites for international economic reports?

I'm tired of domestic news sites reporting on the events after the fact with little advance warning. For example, if China misses its GDP estimates overnight, the domestic markets gap down the next morning. For the majority of us who don't have giant hedge funds with global dispersion models, international headline risk is huge. So it'd be nice to anticipate short-term pickup in volatility.
