Where do I get fundamental data?

  1. I use Amiquote from Amibroker (www.amibroker.com) to get all my free Yahoo data for the US equity Market. Fundamentals appear on my screen along with the price charts. The only downside is you can only view the most current fundamentals, not how they have changed.

Services like Portfolio123.com allow you to backtest strategies based on the changes of fundamentals over time. You can also use technical considerations in the backtest. Some backtests have done quite well. Check out the public systems from Denny at Portfolio123.com for good performance. - Downside is they often include small illiquid stocks in their portfolio, limiting your scalability and increased the spreads.

  2. quote.com has a lot of fundamental information including global markets with coverage of all asset classes.
Here's a brief video that might be of help:

    Thanks,
