Maybe to deter looters, home invasions and riots

Have you ever lived through a world war with bombers incoming? It is one thing to imagine, but...To feel it? I would think one has to live through that sort of thing to "feel it".

I wouldn't worry until you see armed military and the grocery stores no longer have food or grocery stores are closed. That's why there was an initial rush on the grocery stores when the Coronavirus hit the U.S. and Canada.

Now imagine if the grocery stores are shut down. You will then see armed military roaming the streets and possibly protecting the grocery stores.

World Z movie grocery store scene...

    Hmmmm.
    Things are changing daily.
I wouldn't go all in short.
As bleak as it looks, and despite the spirit of my above post, never underestimate the power of science.

I talked to a friend of a friend who's next-door neighbor's.... right..... whatever, but I did.... anyway, she has connections.... there's a good chance we'll see an anti-tank missile for this shit by July 1 at the latest.

Don't shoot the messenger here... just passing things on. I hope she's right. Obviously there's a lot up in the air, and I certainly stand behind my last post in the absence of what she said. However... like I said... this one knows. Its all is coming down to computing power or something. Way beyond me, but out-thinking something this stuff does before it does it. Whatever it is... we have it, and the biggest of the biggest have turned on their main-frames. They're running super-ham to outsmart this stuff. Once they do... its dead-meat. Supposedly.
Quote unquote "July at the latest VZ."
So who knows. I f'n hope she's right.

Edit: They actually have programs that are designed to predict programs. I asked "how can you say July when we know so little?" Tbh I think it went over her head, but it was something about programs that are designed to predict programs that haven't figured out a solution yet. Whaaaatever.
Those cats should move to WS when they're done with Corona.

These aren't statisticians, these are people in white airtight suits that work in clean-rooms with million dollar plus machines that figure out exactly what is needed to go into a friggin pill.

The one thing we have going for us ironically is Moore's law. Apparently the tech we have today to model this stuff, is head and shoulders above the tech we had just 3 years ago. Wow. There's also collaboration going on now too that apparently never happened before as many of these labs are basically for profit operations. We might get lucky, who knows. Be nice to get back to the old days when all we had to bitch about was Trump and Pelosi.

So were back near 2600. We hit 2316 xmas night 2018. The greatest black swan to ever hit the world and were higher than the lows 15 months ago. Throw away the silly rally over 3k and were hardly down. I truly believe before this is over people for the first time in their lives will have to make a decision wether to sell some of their stocks for living exp's. Right now everyone thinks this is just a blip on the radar from 1981 and stocks will come back in a yr or so. Just like the shorts have felt living hell most of the last 40 yrs bulls will feel it for the first time. They'll know what its like to be scared you'll go broke.
