Looks like a dead cat bounce on DAL sector.
SPY,QQQ+ maybe a bit less on XOM sector, they look like a good uptrends.Of all the bear markets i've very studied= that is quite a few= this bear was the weakest fundamental case. But good bear trend while it lasted.
Fed helped more than our fed government.
MRO looks weak; but that is oil related, not virus or Fed related.............................................

It is because people who have no skin in the game and are financially secure in life can afford to be whatever they want to be, like an armchair quarterback in finance, where everything they say is sacrosanct and they can do no wrong.

Dozu. I'd like to see you put every single penny you have into the QQQ on margin, and see how that works out for you. I mean EVERY SINGLE PENNY, so you have zero cash left to spend. Let us see how your big gamble works out. You might get a margin call in 10 damned minutes, and yer broke and owing millions.

I did, and am awaiting your personal guarantee to pay me back. You owe me exactly whatever you have in the bank, because it was your personal guarantee.

Remember? Personal guarantee. You gave the illusion of bona-fide financial advice with no risk disclaimer by you, so you may be legally liable to everyone here.

    Gimme' my millions! Roffle

FWIW, I went and looked at dozu888's posting history, and was convinced that I never needed to read another post from him, so he is now on my ignore list.

Bear market is coming back, so much FOMO/short covering. Longs worry that they missed buying the bottom, shorts cover, and size will short the temporary top. CV is not going away, the impacts will drive shares lower for months likely keeping the market between in negative trend between 2200-2600. OPEC + RUS + USA meet Monday will be interesting, as same FOMO short covering situation developed there.

I predict that the worse a company’s earnings are next week the higher their price will surge immediately following announcement.

Reasoning: good news = bad news now. every time they announce the most atrociously ludicrous unemployment #s all I see are giant green shrek cocks on my charts fucking my puts to death.

Why? I don't understand your logic here, based on what we know at least. A vaccine is still way out right?

As to the rest of this thread, I don't think the "bad news" is priced in. That's just being foolish as it implies there no longer exist any unknowns. If that's the case, why can't I get any non-conflicting answers as to proper precautions, when and how long someone can spread this shit before they show signs, ...etc etc.

Not to mention the macro-economic effects of the current stimulus, the (maybe, maybe not) future stimulus, and oh yeah, lets not forget we have one of the most divisive and controversial Presidential elections of our lifetimes only 6 months out... just about the time virus's like this mutate a bit for their new season. Lines to vote were already going to be blocks long... hows that gonna look when we all have to stand 6 feet apart? People voting in Atlanta will be lining up in Jax. Time for online voting? Yeeeeah. That'll work. The government couldn't get a website like that up, secure, and foolproof in 5 years if their careers depended on it and they had unlimited funds (which they apparently do btw), let alone 6 months when they are a little busy with a thing called a pandemic killing hundreds/day... my god. We are so f'd

I mean am I missing? "The bad news" is NOT priced in. That's the dumbest f'ing thing I have ever heard. Get some common sense folks.

Forget the last 12 years already, look ahead for once and THINK. The bad news is just beginning.
