It was removed. You can get a more comprehensive view of the latest posts by clicking on the "New Posts" link on the blue bar at the top of the page, or also by clicking on the "Threads with Recent Posts" tab on the homepage.
I always wondered why there were 2 ways to reach New posts (on the top and on the right) and the 2 lists were somehow different. But I have to wonder no more...
