where are very long term (100+ years) charts available?

  1. I am interested in gaining an edge through recognizing patterns that correlate based upon past ups and downs wrt commodities, metals, stocks, and economic indicators.

Where would I find such charts? Preferably going back to the early 1800s.

    Thanks!

  2. somebody please give this guy a link so he stops posting over and over and over again...

  3. try a library.

  4. Ask your mate Kermit - or perhaps Miss Piggy would have some 100 year old charts.

I just can't imagine why there are not thousand of guys comiling all this data, getting it on computer and selling it, as the market for this kind of thing is just so huge.

    Do you work for Mckinsey?

  5. You would need to create them yourself. Then you wouldn't have time to post such stupid requests.
