Will markets end the week red or green?

  1. If there is any follow through decline tonight and sharp sell off in futures, you know the scumbag FED will cut before the actual meeting.

If by some divine intervention I see 1260 spooz, 11,600 DOW, I'll be doing cartwheels again. I doubt lightning strikes twice but you never know.

  2. To sum up this thread so far, during the next week the markets should go sideways, up, or down, with either decreasing or increasing volatility:D

  3. The markets will be down about 5% this week, I stake my ET reputation on this predication.

  4. The poll's nearly 2 to 1 in favor of a selloff. I think the market looks bad here, too. Therefore, I'd say we'll have rallied strongly by Friday.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see a major league puking on Monday, though.

  7. I think this week is going to be relatively week and not the huge swings we had last week.

Last week was a gift and a week that doesn't come by too often. Some crazy 600 point swing will not happen. VIX will start dropping and we will soon start to see a tighter range. I hope not though. Some new crazy unforseeable shoe has to drop to mess everyone up.
