  1. OP Have you ever thought about presetting your orders using buy stops, stop losses and limits at night. Basically pre managed trades.

Scan charts at night, set orders, let em ride.

  2. You're on the right track my friend with passion comes perseverance and with perseverance comes success. Keep at it!

I started to feel this way 4 years ago and I still feel it now.

Well trading is hard despite what all those forex broker advertisements say. It is stressful, mentally draining and very lonely. It's basically you and the computer most of the time But successful trading can be very rewarding on many different levels psychologically knowing that you have made it and accomplished something with your own abilities and financially with complete financial freedom coming from unlimited earning potential.

BUT it has to be something that you REALLY want to do, something that you are really passionate about. Then if you do want to trade, then you have to trade like professional traders treating trading as your business or a day job. If the market requires you to get up at 8:00 am, no more sleeping in until noon to trade a "set it forget it" scheme.

BUT then again trading is not for everyone. And trading is not the only way to be successful. There are so many things that you can do to make a very comfortable living and at the same time having a blast doing it. You don't have to stick with trading just because you made certain investment into it if your heart is no longer in it. People who have traded for years walk way from that profession and there is nothing to it. The bottom line is you have to do what makes you happy. Life is short. There is no point doing something that you don't feel happy doing it anymore.

  4. "What do you do?"

You're waiting for a train, a train that will take you far away. You know where you hope this train will take you, but you don't know for sure. But it doesn't matter.

How can it not matter to you where that train will take you?
