  2. i highly doubt we'll see 40 again unless there's a major dropoff in demand from alternative fuels.

    it just costs too much to rip oil out of the ground

    Thank you another person that views the obvious. Will it hit $40 maybe/maybe not. To say never is just idiotic for a trader/investor/academic to claim. Go back further than this latest trend up.

  4. if you understand the whole debt market; and yield to it; unless yield goes up to twenty fold; price of oil will not come down.

    Once we're completely on alternative energy (wind, solar, nuclear), oil will be so cheap the Middle East will be begging us to buy it.

    Obviously very far in the future.
