Right, robotics, AI, applications.. they will replace many humans and will require other humans to repair them. But your barely skilled blue collar workforce will definitely have no work and life balance because they won't be working at all.

That's a whole new different issue. If someone wants to work, they can always work. There is always plenty to do. We just won't need to work to earn money to put food on the table, none of this struggling. That's the difference. And when those "corporatists" need to exploit labour, they just won't be exploiting human labours, they will be exploiting machine labours instead. That's the eventual future. And in the future, humans won't even be needed to repair robotics; robots will repair other robots.

Ya and robots will repair the repairing robots, then robots will begin building tombstones and digging our graves. :)

No Country or Continent, is going to rule any other until the United Nations exists.

  6. China's claim to world leadership is recognized as one of the largest Western leaders. The PRC can become an irreplaceable power in the coming decades. But some Russian experts disagree: in their opinion, the country is rapidly losing markets and the crisis there will be more severe than in the whole world.

  7. No, that’s not going to happen. Nobody will let China rule their country and they have all preparations done if China plans to attack.

The thread title is just click bate. The question immediately above is drawn directly from the opening line of the Bloomberg lead article and is roughly as important as the question of what to eat tonight for dinner. By bedtime, no one will care.

It is too early to say whether China will become the biggest economy in the world.
The gap between US economy and Chinese economy is still enormous. Surely, China is developing at an unprecedented pace but it still has a long way to go. I believe that if nothing will change and the world will keep on developing as it is developing now, then in about 50 years Chinese economy may become economy nmber one in the world. However, it goes without saying that the world is really dunamic and it is next to impossible that nothing will change and there will be no majot event that may happen in the period of 50 years.
More than that, the world's biggest economy can have some other country which is not regarded today as the USA competitor like India. Indian economy grows and we can't know how big it will be.
So, now there is no serious cempetitor to the USA economy but everything may change any minute, so it is too early to think, which country will have more money in foreseen future.

About 35 Years ago, Japan was buying up landmark buildings in all the big cities of the world. They had the biggest banks when bank lending was a dominant source of capital. We can't extrapolate to the sky.

Also, the CCP has a lot of incompetence and willful neglect on display lately. Let's hope they don't grow too much and overreach to the point that they take the whole world down. ..Oops...too late.
