When was the last time you saw a sell off like this?

  1. I haven't seen this volatility for quite some time.

  3. Similar reaction when the Reserve increased in the Fed funds rate during the May meeting.

    FYI - This is nowhere near a sell-off.
     
  4. Less than a year ago. 200 points is nothing, hardly a "sell off".
     
  5. If 98% DOWN volume is not a sell off, I don't know what is.
     
  6. just for the record, when was the last time the S&P dropped 50 points??

    Or the Nasdaq 90?

    I'm definitely in some pain here.

    in 2000...saw the dow lose 500 points bounce up a tad to down 250 and then proceeded to bleed day in and day out til hitting 7000...........
