you'll find it along w/all that polling that "proved" "defunding the police" rhetoric hurt democrats when I asked him for it.

 

And then there is the 2021 reality where the progressive city council pulled police funding to pour money into their pet "community safety division".

If "Defunding the police" was such a big winner for Democrats then they wouldn't be looking to shake it off.

Yeah.. .there are plenty of follow-up articles showing they funded their pet "violence interrupters" project using the police funds. The result -- Durham sets new records in 2021 for murders and shootings.

The laughable part is that the "violence interrupters" are demanding that an armed Durham police officer go with them on every call.
