When Israel Bombs Iran How Will Market React?

  1. Then you are not very smart if you believe US policy would entail shooting at Israeli planes in this day and age. The number of reasons as to why this is a moronic view are too numerous to list. There's not enough space on the Internet.

I tend to agree but also think the bounce back or lack of bounce will be directly related to the amount of retaliation Iran can muster against Israel, U.S. positions and other neighbor countries it considers complicent.

  3. My only opinion was that Zbig wasn't being careless.

Zbig knows a hell of a lot more of what's really going on in the middle east than you and I do.

Read the article. Why does he say "reverse Liberty?" Isn't that a hint that we would "accidently" shoot down Israel's planes?

Don't argue with me - argue with a former National Security Advisor. I'm just posting what was said.

    Check your history.

Markets enjoyed the hell out of Israel turning the Iraqi breeder reactor into a crater.

A surgical strike on Iran's facilities would do the same. Doubly so if they managed to take out their lead wingnut as a secondary target.

Bullshit. Once you're out of the loop, you're out of the loop.

Almost everyone from Carter's cabinet was marginalized afterward, including Zbig.

If Kissinger was squawking, it's time to listen, but not Zbig.

  7. Looking at previous DOW responses to international events, if Iran bombs Israel, the DOW will fall. If Israel bombs Iran, the DOW will spike.

  8. I have a friend who is a military officer in the US embassy in Afghanistan. I have his business card with English on the front and Afghan on the back. He explained to me that the US paid for millions of dollars of irrigation equipment years ago so that the Afghans could grow food. However, they use the irrigation equipment almost exclusively to grow poppies because it is so much more profitable. The US military knows where all of the poppy fields are that produce most of the heroin shipped to our country. However, our military cannot do anything about it because the warlords who we are supporting to run the country own most of the poppy fields. So , basically, the US has financed the production of poppies in Afghanistan and now protects the warlords who are growing it. Truth is stranger than fiction.

  9. Correct....and we have CIA ops fly around Taliban poppy field "managers" in country. The truth is getting out but the mainstream media will not touch it with a 10 foot pole.
