  3. Questions like this are interesting.

No one knows what the top is. Dow could go to 25,000 or whatever number it wants. Too many people try to fight the market and keep the same strategy even when the environment has changed. The market is never wrong because it gets to continue to write new history everyday.

Take the opportunities that the market gives you. Don't go broke because..."it's not possible that the market can do this". Trade adjust, trade adjust, trade adjust. I can't call a direction from here, the landscape has changed. I do know that you can make a zillion dollars no matter what direction the market goes if you know what you doing.

  6. Tops in the stock market can take forever. Bottoms can last a few hours, days, etc, etc...

“It’s just the nature of a rip-roaring bull market. Fundamentals might be good for the first third or first 50 or 60 percent of a move, but the last third of a great bull market is typically a blow-off, whereas the mania runs wild and prices go parabolic.” Paul Tudor Jones

  10. True, when the Depression hit, they had daily highs and near highs during the Summer of 1929 and when it crashed in 1929-30, it traded sideways for 10 years...
