I wonder if the "trapped shorts" will cause a spike to the upside in a momentary squeeze??

Does anyone know if any of the limit orders placed prior to GLOBEX outage will be canceled before it reopens?

 

just got messages on redi that orders prior to 2:45 will be purged

i'm short a tiny bit.

i was hoping that the market would collapse once everyone realized that the shorts -- aka small money, since any big money that was short would've hedged -- weren't going to push the market up any higher...and then the real sellers would come out once they realized that...
