Ahh, Replaced it with a Rush video, which is actually in 3D if you know how to see it. Involves crossing the eyes in a certain way.
Most of our beef is grain fed and so is a lot more expensive even relative to the economy. Well, actually grass fed beef seems to sell for a premium too LOL! Yeah I was a seaman for my whole working life except I was a fisherman in my younger years, and when we took provisions in a foreign port, it was always noticed that Argentine beef was a lot cheaper and most companies would not splurge on U.S. beef if Argentine beef was available. I think Argentina exports all the tough beef LOL! You will find that graded (choice, or prime) steaks sold in the U.S. are very tender and fairly tasty, though. Common grade beef is well, you get what you pay for. Some of us eat a lot of beef, more than others. It is not just economically driven. There are health nuts who think red meat is poison. Cholesterol and such. At my house we have a nice steak at least twice a week, burgers once or twice a week, and a beef roast or a stew about once a week. Sometimes ribs. Our beef consumption is a bit higher than average for our city, which leans heavily toward seafood. But we eat a lot of shrimp and fish and oysters, too. And crabs and crawfish, in season. I guess we just eat a lot of everything LOL! We eat a lot of bacon and ham and ham hocks, mostly for seasoning. A lot of fried chicken and roast turkey and occasionally I manage to shoot a goose or some ducks. We eat a lot of alligator in my house. Turtle, fish, basically anything with a face that is not human or a pet, it is okay to kill it and eat it LOL. Vegetables are fine, as long as they have a lot of bacon or ham hocks or something in them. We also eat a lot of rice. Potatoes, basically never. Those are for yankees and prisoners. I think mostly even a fairly poor family will have beef a couple times a week in the U.S. and wealthier people have no monopoly on beef consumption. They just eat more expensive cuts. Prime Rib instead of hamburger. Choice or Prime thick cut Ribeyes or NY Strips instead of neck bones and short ribs and flank steaks breaded and chicken fried.
Oooh, I could make a flank steak that would water the eyes out of your skull...Flank is a terrific cut of the cow, if cooked properly. I'm drooling just thinking about it. And while we are on the subject?
A worthwhile purchase. GREAT movie. Guys, salt and fat is back in, for the truth is finally revealed. SUGAR is the true poison! (It is called "That sugar film").
Good grief!....best make haste and check those cholesterol and tryglycerides levels. They may be high. I like ribeyes..oysters and such but seems like you guys eat alot meat.
Of course we eat meat. That is how we got smart over the last few million years, yes?. Eat red meat, it makes the brain grow. Don't worry all about cholesterol and Tri-G...Sugar is the true poison.
In Mexico the skirt steak which is adjacent to the flank steak is called arracheras when grilled in strips. Great tasting.
