This is the first time I have traded continuously though the year, I never noticed how much the volumes drop off in the American summer. Does the same thing happen in futures?
Yes. The only reason I'm up this late is that we're still not past Labor day. But even then, activity will only increase gradually. No worries. A month from now, you should have plenty to do throughout the day.
