I am having a similar problem with my day trading , i cant decide if i should trade stocks that have setups in daily charts and trade them accordingly, or if i should look only for intraday setups from a long list of stocks, im strugling with my patience problems so at the moment i think the first idea is the best one

    Day in and day out I trade the QQQQ's,; they are very liquid and can scalp bigger sizes.

    Occasionally I reduce my size after a scalp to let it run for the day, sometimes even holding it overnight.

    Also, keeps from trying to see the action in many different stock.

    Better to be great at one thing than to be good at many things...... in my opinion.

  5. If you trade the QQQQ that well you should try trading the NQ for two reasons.

    1. you can make more money with less money - i.e leverage - but obviously that cuts both ways.

    2. Taxes are lower.

  7. Stick with Index Futures (YM, ES, etc)

    Much easier to track
