Any opinion on CBOT wheat vs. corn snapping back? It seems to have consolidated. Sep-Dec looks like the trend has changed as well.

Georges, Yes Russian, kazakh, Ukrainian crops apparently will put pressure down for the next weeks. They are a wild card, you never know if they are bluffing are not.

Look at the corn and wheat, it looks no supports for wheat there too.

for your research I suggested you the weekly Farm Credit Canada Bulletin.

    Thank you for your Comments.

    Just read their Article.

I am around here and watch as usual the Wheat Futures Contracts,

especially in Kansas City Board of Trade and Minneapolis Grain Exchange.

I watch and a little the Weather in U.S.A Southern Plains and have the small opinion that,

the Continuous Drought will continue into the Seeding Fall Period there.

Now, i am very dissapointed because,

i can not have any Advantage from the very cheap Russian and Ukrainian Wheat.

The Russian MICEX Exchange have almost any Volume in the Wheat Futures Contracts,

and an Exchange in Ukraine that research it,

have not make any trading in Wheat this Period.

Right now only the big Multinational Companies have a huge advantage,

    because had buy or buy,

very cheap Wheat from Russia and Ukraine and sell it in Black Sea Ports in quite Wide Spreads between their Buying Price and their Selling Price,

    i guess.

Also, sell it very cheaply in comparison with U.S.A and Europe.

I am trying this Period to follow some Wheat Spreads.

I have open about three different Wheat Spreads,

    a) Long in Kansas City Wheat December 2011 / Short in Kansas City Wheat July 2012,

    b) Long in Kansas City Wheat May 2012 / Short in Chicago Wheat May 2012,

    c) Long in Minneapolis Wheat March 2012 / Short in Kansas City Wheat March 2012.

Possibly i can not feel well,

if does not have a Long Wheat Position always open...!

Also, this Period i have focus to watch the CropSignal Service of GDA Corp.

Have put me from there for some Time Period to the User Group of CropSignal Service without any USD charge.

I believe a lot to that Service from the Fundamental Aspect.

    Kind Regards,

    George Kanellopoulos.
