Wheat - Oct 11, 2006

  1. The way I look at the markets, each "month" has its own uniqueness of oscillation. Yes, there are similarities but I read and take my signals from market specifics and they are unique from month to month.

The indy feedlots I help out in Kansas have been long Dec. Wheat & Corn since mid September. Talk about one happy bunch of ranchers. IMHO Corn could be potentially topping here.

  3. There is so much mis-information out there in the grains that the only useful information I get is on the weather channel. Personally, I'm a technical/seasonal trader.

  4. I too would be interested in any good news sources on ags in general.

CBOT produces a 3x daily report from the floor that has a variety of interesting news.

I also tivo "This Week in Agribusiness" on RFDTV (and skip the 5x per broadcast weather reports). They sometimes have some pretty good news segments.
