  2. Over 90% Return in 2006 currently (Jan 03 2006 percentage return =0%)

    How? Sector rotating in and out of best 10-20 Industries.....Buy Low Sell High in Channels....The real Key is trying to sell when everybody who is late wants it and buy it back when it corrects.....

    Oil goes up=Oil Sector

    Oil goes down (Gets top heavy)= Airline, trucking sector
    Overwieght Petroleum Sector
    Long minerals (Gold/Silver/Copper/Ore) since 2005
    Long Steel, Titanium, Metals since 2004
    Long Ethanol (PEIX, MGPI, STKL)
    Long Food (Agriculture, Bev Soft Drink)
    Long Building (Cement)
    Long Exchanges
    Long Chemicals
    Long Financials
    Long Machinery (Const/Mining, Industrial)
    Long Energy (Coal, Uranium, Alternative)

    There's guys at Aqueduct that made 1000% on thier account equity today.

    And tommorow they will be borrowing carfare.

    makes for an interesting insight into how scalable a trading style actually is.
    i use leverage on my equity account of about 4-5 times, using most futures and forex gives you leverage of about 20 times.
    If you are using a trading style / method / strategy that is consistently profitable with great returns eg; +30%, with small drawdowns and one that is scalable, why are there not more george soros etc; around. Hell if i could make 1000% i'd borrow as much as i can, do a few trades and then retire.
    Percentage returns dont really apply to most scalpers and day traders, unless you are really looking to scale up and make serious actual cash returns. then you have to to work out if you can, and thats when percentages really matter.
