Not playing that game.....quick in and outs to see what kind of traction I may get in a very wild EOD play......this is the type of short covering rally action that has technicals thrown out the window.
I had a moderate delta divergence signal that lasted a couple of minutes as we traded around 918 to 919's ....pullback went to 913.75 and then the divergence disappeared with a new round of buyers....just taking a quick shot to see what may stick.
Yes these are just some intraday tardes that I would probably dump by end of day or in the overnight session.....not for long term plays. I also closed out my Rydex 200% S&P500 (long) position I have been holding for several days......that was a nice move up and I want to lock in those profits. I do not want to come back in the morning after a great rally like this and see some selling again from news which cuts out much of the profit.
I got in at 868 when the 20 crossed the 50 and sold at 938 EOD . never fight the tape. Guessing and hoping is a terrible way to trade. Short that run up? that is pure stupidity.
Stock, you are calloing yet another bottom huh? Well let's see if the 50th time or so is the right call. My take on today? We could very well move higher for a week or so, then oops the election hits. When (not if) obama gets the nod, the mkt will be back down to test the lows. I am quite sure we are not beginning a new bull market, but you keep on hoping and posting stock, you are so naïve and egotistical that your posts are humorous if nothing else!
This is coming from someone who has yet to post a single trade or position. We'll see what happens if Obama wins. The fed and paulson already pumped this market with tons of liquidity. I doubt Obama can screw things up enough in his first year to undo the economic success of George Bush.
I use the VB tool set to cumulative delta from this software www.linnsoft.com - when price diverges from the bid/ask delta I take trade entries......do it all day long, day after day. example - http://www.linnsoft.com/tour/techind/vb.htm
