  2. thats true actuially i think $1.66 per 100 shares so you're righht. but on a 30-70 bucks stock its nice not having anny min yes 200 shares og goog with ib is huge with no $3.32 sec fee. i just don't like ib's platform for fast moving stocks. its cumbersome as hell

  3. A ton of firms, both retail and prop. I'm not naming names--lest I be accused of promoting. But feel free to IM me for some.

For a small-time trader doing 1000 shares a day it may not hit home, but for a guy doing volume in small lots, IB's minimum is like pouring a bottle of Hennessy Nostalgie de Bagnolet down the toilet each month.

    canuck

IB is great for me. Been with them for a couple of years now and no problems. I guess it may depend on your style of trading but for me it's perfect!!

  6. Frankly if you're trading GOOG 1000 times a day there something wrong with you.

And since you are already disturbed, I suggest you do 200 shares and avoid the terrible stress of paying that $1.

I wish ya'll would keep to issues that actually matter.
