It's all junk! Go work in a casino (not as a dancer) and the insights will happen quickly. Everyone loses. The key is to lose as little as possible......
Easiest money I ever made was working for an IB second easiest was at a hedge fund… From a pure dollar and cents perspective,You can’t compare trading your own capital and keeping 100 percent vs trading hedge fund money and keeping 20 percent of profits.. Odds are, you will be trading large multiples of your own piggy bank and I’m not talking 5 fold
I mean it's about stress and this rely on personal preferences, if someone choose to make lot of money with lot of stress or making enough money with low stress. Btw how did you ended up in IB and hedge funds how's you experiences with them? And can you suggest me some ways if I wanna get into these stuff what they look for?
I have an Accounting Degree and even if I wanted to trade just Stocks it'd mean shit. Retail Traders who try to be Value Investors are competing against big funds directly, not tailgating them like they should. Economics or a Finance egree isn't required for a retail Trader either, too much shit you'd never use. But a Finance degree would be imperative for getting a Job at a Fund I assume.
