What's Your Most Important Entry Rule That You NEVER Violate?

Mine is always make sure the price tick is going in my direction.

What do you look for in the Tick?
Or do you mean up or down tick?

 

That means price needs to start moving in my direction (usually with better volume) before hopping on board.

 

i never enter a trade until i confirm the trade is good with mr. market.

Never enter just before a major news event.

 

Never enter if I have to do #1 and/or especially #2.

How often do you miss good trades by following this rule?

I would say 1 out of every 10 trades, depends what I'm trading though. On ES, NQ it's not a problem.
