what's your Jack Hershey trading system win/loss ratio ?

  1. I think they did try Ninja Trader from Tradestation, but the program won't work without the right datafeed, and, at fidelity, the only one that has the corrected feed is for .SPX, which is not es or s&p mini's data. You will not have success with that script unless you're in Wealth Lab. It is the only platform that will show profits in excess of 10,000%. I've emphasized this point too many times that it's painful. Anybody from Fidelity can load it into .SPX 5 minute bars and have a great system, but only at Fidelity can you do this as there is not a commercially available substitute for S&P index futures. It is not designed to work on ES: do not use on ES. The program only works on Fidelity's datafeed in Wealth Lab Pro. Do not waste your time copying this program from Scottd's thread where a working tradestation program once existed. They were not profitable forward testing, and I was the only one it seemed with access to the platform.

I've seen this program turn $10k to $100k in less than 8 weeks.

  2. you can use stochastic, macd or roc,or whatever..

any system would work until the point where major sell-offs or homeruns occur.then you`d give it everything back.

i personaly tried it with stoch.,double stoch.,roc...etc, and everything was fine until huge spike or sell-off where you always give back what you`ve made.

another words,it`s all bullshit according to the universe ethics.

i consider myself switching to higher time frame.enough this bull crap..

  4. xiaodre

    xiaodre

    Yeah, sorry.

I read that and I was shocked. My question was a reaction to that shock. I read further on, and discovered that other people were shocked as well!

I might adopt a policy of deleting old posts like Jack Hershey does.

  7. These are actual trading profits, or Collective2 "profits", or C2 "profits", or what?

  8. This excuse does not hold water. I created a simple program that reads line from my platform's log file and instantaneously posts the trade to twitter, so from fill to notification it's about 3-5 seconds. Only in the sub-5-second trade realm does the above hold.

  9. That was what his backtests showed in Wealth Lab Pro 6.5.

The performance results are out there if you search for them in the forums. I think I even posted a trades list at the end of 2009.

  10. We have people that have posted background checks indicating tax liens, and it's very passe to note that his strategies might work, they might not, but I think if you do follow it closely you'll see one way or the other.
