If you trade SPY, QQQQ, DIA options are these considered index options (NDX, OEX) ? It is better to trade index options from a tax perspective because of the 40/60 rule. Also I've noticed that with QQQQ options although they have tighter spreads and more liquidity, they do not move as much as NDX options.
