Thought I'd start a thread to see if any of you peoples had favorite "cyclical" stocks you enjoy getting returns from throughout the year (stocks that have had a decently long history of running horizontal in channels, ensuring lower risk returns by getting in low). Anyone have any favorites out there?
Although it hasn't been running quite in a horizontal channel, it's not at all uncommon for roche holdings to spike 20%. I'm expecting a $200 spike for January, flu season is bigger than ever and Tamiflu is monopolized by roche.
