Canada's jobless rate falls to lowest level in two years: http://ca.finance.yahoo.com/news/Canada-jobless-rate-falls-capress-4119373303.html?x=0 "Canada's unemployment rate has fallen to the lowest level in more than two years as a combination of more jobs and fewer people seeking work in May pushed the rate to 7.4 per cent." "Statistics Canada said 22,300 new jobs were created last month, slightly above consensus estimates following April's strong 58,000-job gain." "The number of employees in Canada actually dropped by 7,500 in May, and the goods producing sector of the economy saw a pull-back in employment, with manufacturing taking the biggest hit with 22,500 fewer jobs. The month also showed the public sector is starting to tighten, shedding 44,300 jobs as governments begin dealing with large deficits." "Still, Canada's economy is doing far better than its southern neighbour and biggest trading partner. In the past year, Canada has created 273,000 new jobs, most full time and in the private sector, while the U.S. has struggled to post solid gains."
============= Thats good; they needed to, socialized med, restrictive free speech/hate crime they call it. However i did see a somewhat scary/funny PBS special produced about 40 years ago;global cooling scam, a Canadian river froze for the very first time...LOL
if you trade from canada, you just pop over to the usa and get top drawer private health care. our system is broken and won't be fixed in a lifetime. socialized medicine is a joke. s
Canada's real estate bubble is going to pop soon ala US real estate 2007-2008. My only problem is figuring out which currency cross to short against the Canadian dollar.
You figure that CAD is going to surge as imports collapse (no more need to purchase crap to fill houses on credit), and borrowing (ie: CAD$ shorting) stops?
LOL. Sorry to pop your bubble, eh! http://www.doctorhousingbubble.com/...-fall-foreign-money-speculation-housing-debt/ -2 j
