I am an economic zero> May anyone here in the business give me (us) some observations on overall volume in world capital markets. I see US equity markets are super thin but what about worldwide equity markets? Are all markets worldwide (commodities/ fx/ fixed income) being bid up on low volume? Is it a case that smaller players died last year or that so much is on the "sidelines"? Thanks
