i'm looking to switch brokers from scottrade to ib or lightspeed.
i need help deciding! i'd like to choose ib for their third party support but as i've been looking over their site I noticed under the minimum requirment tab ""introducing broker commission" of $2000 per month? thats a deal breaker for me. do they really require that per month or im i beeing retarded!

you would not be an introducing broker. That is a fee for - well - introducing brokers (aka other firms) who may white label or use the IB software as their platform to distribute amongst their clients. you thus would not be subject to this minimum fee.
