  2. Thanks! I will try to make that work. I'm not that familiar with excel using vba. But, I do use vba code for sheet1 every morning to link real time feed from Tos to my proprietary program. So, I think I can do this!

  3. I now see that eoddata.com is up and running. This after I spent many hours developing an alternative. Now I'm wondering ...

    1. What happened?
    2. Will it happen again?

I think the feeds are run by a sole guy, when he goes away on holidays and they die, nobody is around to fix them. What was the alternative you came up with? eoddata is still missing data from the 27th until December 6. Thanks

  5. This is just what you suppose, right? Has anybody heard from eoddata.com? I never got a response to the 2 messages I sent them/him.
As far as the data gap goes, I just checked and was able to get pricing for December 3 at eoddata.com. This is U.S.-markets pricing.
I used financialmodelingprep.com. I signed up at $29 a month. According to their pricing schedule, end-of-day data are supposed to be free. So, I'm not sure if I went about it right. I was confused about this "API" thing. But I got caught up there. But I prefer at this point to go back to eoddata.com because it's already filtered for the U.S. markets.

Oh, okay. I ended up switching to polygon.io as they have a grouped API where I can grab all US-listed stocks with one call every night. eoddata is good when it works, but this is now the second time the feeds have died on me, and the data is still missing from November 27th until December 6th.

  7. Huh? Like I said, I got it for Dec. 3 (after already having gotten it from FMP). What specifically did you request? Try it again.

    polygon.io
The white background and dark-blue buttons look familiar ...
