do you mind if i ask what FCM you trade through? I was with a prop group trading U.S. yield curve and was curious about going out on my own. I know there are hig hcapital requirements to trade cash and there arent even so many brokers who clear cash.. many of the FCM's just do futures.

  3. many FCM's in Chicago trade cash. I also know of a group of people you can trade with if you bring a minimum of I think 150K to their LLC. Some of the Firms who trade yield curve cash in Chicago are RCG, GHCO, TMG, Infinium, Gelber, Harrison, Breakwater, etc...
If you want to trade on your own the best place in Chicago is Advantage but I don't know if they have cash access you can get cash on CQG and TT now so if you find someone to clear through you should be ok. I think most cash is cleared/settled through a relationship with the firm and a bank don't know the nuts and bolts of it just trade it.
