It is probably faster to post an Excel with al the combos and perms of the datasets and then have a column for the conclusion reference id #.
You don't need rules, you just need to be disciplined, not to jump in and out in an uncontrolled way.
Having "rules" without an understanding from whence they came means nothing as you won't know when to break them.
