What's the best way to get Long Interest Rates - For the Long Run (2-5 years)

  1. I don't want to short treasury futures because I don't want to roll over every 3 months. So I'm thinking of shorting TLT instead.

Are there any other ways to get long rates?

A little late to the party!
You could buy TBT, UltraShort 20+ YR treasuries.

  3. I think there is a good chance of another big selloff in equities late this year or early next year. That'll present a good opportunity to fade the next big flight to quality move into treasuries.

Thanks for the TBT recommendation. It think buyint TBT is a better idea than shorting TLT.

  4. ?.......deferred eurodollar futures contracts?

Go to the Eurodollar. There is definitely enough liquidity back there to not give up too much to get the position (During the day only though)
