What's the best timeframe for using TA?

Discussion in 'Technical Analysis' started by farmerjohn1324, Sep 24, 2020.

  1. Ya? hows that workin out for ya ? You are the biggest knob Ive ever come across on a forum. I will buy your farm at auction with my winnings from TA. Cocksmooch.

Nothing else to say to some wannabe farm owner who is probably just a farmhand at best.

I imagine there are far many more people in this world that stare at their androids all day than pc's. Especially those behind the wheel, whether on the road or a cornfield.

  3. The winnings that you don't have yet?

I don't have a farm. Although I do have a house worth $900,000 with no mortgage and 4 other properties about to build on. It's probably asking too much for you to comprehend a world outside of your room at your mommies house.

    fj no problemo.
You gonna need something that throws signals and triggers that are highly visible, no?

What timeframe charts do you LIKE to trade?

TA is unlikely to make you any money unfortunately. It can play a part, but by itself it's useless. The forums are full of charts and calls and if it were that easy everyone would be making money.

This thread never had a chance.

OP is 99 percent sure that TA is nonsense, but asks an open ended TA question.

  8. If that is the case (which I already highly suspect that it is) then you can see why I'd be hesitant to invest lots of time "learning" it if there's nothing actually to learn.

As opposed to being "lazy" as some have tried to claim.

  9. If I had my choice, I would prefer positions that could take months or years to develop.

But on a smaller timeframe, I wouldn't mind trying to "scalp" or day trade while I'm bored with nothing to do. But I honestly don't think a person can make sensible predictions about things on such a short timeframe.

Nah, it was a "lazy" insincere question that had "kick me in the nuts" written all over it.
