What's the best source for intraday movers (equities)?

  1. These are stocks that have moved within the trading day, as opposed to simply opening up 10 bucks and staying there.

  2. Any ideas? Seems useful.

  3. Don't know of a source, but perhaps you could link prices into an excel spreadsheet, at 9:45 or 10:00 save those prices as values then set up another coulumn with current prices thena third column with the difference. Only problem is that you would have to have a universe of stocks from which to choose.

  4. Try tradingday.com

I have a scan on Trade Ideas that looks for $1 gappers that have gone up at least another .5 from the open. Very customizable...

  6. Use trade ideas. IT is cheap ($50 for all it can do is very cheap IMO)
you can program it to look for satocks that opened either below the close or high of the day, and have since move X amount or are "running up."

You can also add in volume (% above average)to help confirmation of the move
