I want to start learning fibonacci and Elliott wave - Can anyone tell me a good book for something starting to learn these technical tools? Really appreciate it! Thanks
I liked "New Frontiers in Fibonacci Trading: Charting Techniques, Strategies & Simple Applications" by Michael Jardine
Applying Elliott Wave Theory Profitably by Steven W. Poser Fibonacci For The Active Trader by Derrik S. Hobbs but personally I prefer Channel Through Air method by Jack H.
the only elliott book worth 2 cents is: mastering elliott wave---glenn neely http://www.amazon.com/Mastering-Ell...6239858?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1179771760&sr=1-1 enjoy, surf
My personal favorite: http://www.amazon.com/Annotated-Bro...4901709?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1179772083&sr=8-3 Importantly, it's annotated, which seems to carry some weight around here.
I'm surprised that you would recommend a book on Elliot, since Elliot is TA and you fully believe TA to be baseless. It is particularly vexing since Elliot lies on the outer fringes of TA even among those who hold TA in some regard.
Perhaps the authors rightly assume that each book on the subject that is sold will create a certain amount of negative publicity at the grass roots level. Stated differently, each copy sold will create sufficient reader disenchantment so as to reduce the likelihood of additional copies being sold within that reader's circle of contacts. Therefore, this burden must be accounted for, and factored into, the price of each copy sold.
