TJ is an abuse victim. Please cut him some slack.

  2. The ad does not say toxic masculinity.

The kids were not wrestling dumbass, the other one was basically pinning him down and antagonizing him. This was not two friends "wrastling", the example was suppoed to be the older boy picking on the younger boy.

I sense you would be upset if sexual harrassment is truly frowned upon. I also sense you were the bully. I also see signs of past abuse so I apologize, we should not make fun of your storya nd you should feel free to share and unburden yourself.

To Be fair I don’t really understand what “toxic masculinity” even is. Bad behavior isn’t a version of masculinity, it’s just bad behavior.

Still, I don’t see how some people would lose their minds over this commercial.

You are one of the world's worst psychologists.
And you are not attempting to comprehend what I wrote.

For your info, I am completely against sexual harassment.
Back when I was single, a women I cared about was traumatized by it. For the next few years she was never comfortable.

But you don't pin the ideal of toxic masculinity on all men just like you don't paint group ________ with the behavior of extremists.

    That is exactly my point.
The P.C. crowd has been making that distinction for years.
A distinction which (when appropriately made ) and I agree with...

The idea of toxic masculinity is devious.

  7. Who is pinning...you are just sensitive. If the ad does not call you out then you are fine. The ad does not say all men, are create a toxic masculinity. You imply the ad calls out all men but in the ad there are men who step in and stop the bullying and harassment.

It is just you triggered so hard by it that makes me think we should leave this alone as you still have no confronted something in the past. Denial is not just a river in Egypt.

  8. I think the reaction to the ad is maybe a bit extreme, but it reflects the fact that people are fucking sick and tired of being lectured on their shortcomings by global corporations. I view this as some leftover anger from the insulting Nike Kapernick campaign.

What fucking business is it of Gillette how men act? Because they sell razors? Seriously? Are we suddenly so infantilized that we need some corporate SJW telling us how to act?

It's particularly insulting coming from a company whose latest ad campaign, the Made in America razor stuff, is essentially a lie. Most of their stuff is made outside the US.

You wish to see the ad as innocuous.
Others see the ad in the context of a broader move by the left.
I am surprised you don't see that ad as part of the movement to support the idea of toxic masculinity.

I never saw the ad before today. I don't watch T.V... so I was far from triggered by it.

  10. what the fuck are you babbling about? you sound like drunk asshole at a bar. toxic masculinity is about: men's dominance over women, physical violence or abuse, bullying or frat boys mentality. an example for a moron like you is the behavior by assholes like Trump or Weinstein.
were you the asshole who sexually harassed that girl back when you were single?

you can't say "a women", it's "a woman". (we speak English in this country and not russianglish. BTW, this is another example of toxic masculinity for you.)
