For those of us on ET who don't believe economic collapse is imminent (anyone? anyone? what is on your shopping list during this most recent fire sale?
i have been watching retailers and stocks trading near cash+book value with low debt. retailers have actually shown "strength" in the recent selling by staying flat to up. stocks like ODP, OMX, SPLS, CHIC (which guided up), but my personal favorite is... KBR...they have zero debt and a cash+book value of 23 and closed at 30 today. and well they are KBR. if we have another sell off like in august then i will be buying a lot. other than that i will be looking to play previously strong stocks that have got murdered lately. almost too many to name. just run thru anything industrial or commodity related.
