What's a good moving average crossover for swing trading stocks?

    the 400dma could work well= seldom gets hit/LOL.What you have to watch out for; if they start turning @220, then 444 ma may be a bit a bit slow/ but there is a place for turtles/LOL

    So moving averages cross over .... both directions.

    Are you looking to go short also?

    If not my suggestion if you are a long only hodler, is don't bother with MA's if all you are trying to obtain is a 5-7% per trade return.

    That looks better than his 25ma;
    or 444 ma which can be very profitable;
    but I seldom use the 444/too slow/drawdowns...……………………………………………...I think one of the older turtles uses a 400/but I don't remember his exact [number+ its best ''don't tell everything you know as my banker dad says'' [Its not that all are crooks/untrust worthy; its that any can make data mistakes + I never sell when IBD suggests selling.And frankly a 200/400 dma may have worked better if he never published that...………………………………………………]
