Whatever happened to the mysterious "Asian", or "Korean" investment for LEH?

  1. New majority shareholder in LEH and chairman of the board, Kim Jong-il?

  2. The mysterious "Korean" transaction for LEH is 3 months old. Now, there may be a "Japanese" transaction for LEH.

Just remember this - Fuld said he was out to get the shorts in LEH's common stock.

I have no position in LEH stock. It shouldn't take an out-and-out bankruptcy in LEH for Fuld to leave his job. There's already been enough damage done. Fuld should exit for the greater good of all those who remain at LEH.

  3. There's a rumor that a Myanmar (formerly Burma) bank is going to buy out Lehman at a massive premium.

  4. Why does Korean want to take stake in LEH,

In 1998 one of the Lone Star funds bought part of a troubled Korean investment bank at a huge discount and made lots of money.

I just heard a rumour that Elvis Presley is alive and considering a $30 per share bid for Lehman.
