I don't claim any party but I'm sure not a liberal. I don't really favor the war in the first place, but I think most of the very liberal people though are doing a downright horrible job of getting their view across if they really want the war/occupation to end.

  6. That is a typical rightwing strawman describing the communist "solution" which has nothing in common with the reality and democratic platform. Of course it's good enough for a lot of silly, gullible and simplistic people to vote republican.

  7. Jimmy Carter's diary:

... a high school girl asked me why she should be a Democrat. I asked her a series of questions that all bloggers should use in discussions: Do you prefer peace or war? Do favor tax breaks for the richest Americans or working families? Would you rather destroy the environment or protect it? Do you approve the torture of prisoners? Do you think our government should secretly spy on your family? Do you think we should abandon every nuclear arms control agreement negotiated since Dwight Eisenhower was president? Do you approve of your part of the national debt now being $28,000 and increasing by $300 each month? Do you think we should meld religion and government?

  9. American's hostage in Tehran
"Ironically the hostages were finally released on Jan. 20, 1981, the day of the inauguration of Carter's successor, Ronald Reagan. Their freedom was obtained in exchange for concessions that included the unfreezing of Iranian assets in the United States."

unemployment at 11%. You tell 'em Jimmy!!!!
    Actually: Unemployment rate:
    1977 6.9
    1978 6.0
    1979 5.8
    1980 7.0

Did I mention that 8 million jobs were created during the four years of Carter's presidency, only 3 million jobs were created during the last six years.

If she's like 39% of all wage earners she paid ZERO in Federal income tax
Could that be because they already live below or barely above the poverty level? Take your time, think about it, if you don't know the answer - try to guess.

Do you think our government should secretly spy on your family?Only if my sister's shooting the shit on the phone with a terrorist. She's dated worse.....
Good right-winger that you are you hate and despise the government but you blindly trust it to only spy on your sister if she's talking with a terrorist and absolutely convinced that no checks and balances are needed (i.e. FISA court supervision and warrants) to make sure the government does not abuse its powers. I am sure you're going to be just as trusting of the future Hillary's administration.

My share of the debt could be $280,000 and I'd still be ahead with the Bush tax cuts.
Good for you, you obviously don't have children so you could not care less that they will have to pay for the tax cuts you got from Bush. In this sense you and Bush are common thieves.
