I appreciate the aspect of your trading style that you've disclosed. If you don't mind sharing, what was the cause of you losing millions? Were you overleveraged and/or not properly hedged? thanks, Walt
I would take the money, bcuz the pill will not work forever, i tried all kinds of drugs - after a certain time, they stop working.... Of course, money does NOT make you happy, but it gives satisfaction, especially, when you ve made the money on your own. What makes me happy, is to help other people, yes with my money.....
You didn't get the premise. The pill WOULD work forever, doesn't matter what. No matter you are dying of cancer, you would be still happy. And that is my friend, PRICELESS....
well, then i would say, it depends on the live situation. i mean if i would be 80 years i would take the pill and be happy stoned awaiting my dead. But i am still young, so i would take the money and live my life, including feeling pain, because without pain there is no real happiness in life..... So i am still taking the money...
Just picking up the thread at the end here - maybe somebody's already made the point. If you were happy no matter what you'd have no motivation to do anything and would be dead within a couple of weeks of starvation. I'd take the money.
Ok. Ok. OK. I got it. Taking other people's money WILL buy eternal happiness. Is that a choice? I'll take other peoples money for 1000 Alex. In the medieval period what was the name of the Wars fought to steal other peoples money in the name of eternal happiness? The Crusades. Yeah that's it I'm a Crusader.
Your answer to this question pretty much tells me your financial status. Those who choose money are those who don't have much money, and they have the first hand experience that they could not possibly be happy without money. Those who choose the pill are those who already have billions. They have first hand experience to know money can not buy everything.
