What will the bail out of Fannie & Freddie cost the economy??

I personally think this will cause further devaluation of the USD, though one could argue that since it might save the US economy it can actually cause the opposite

 

what about lehman, WaMu?

 

The fact that the Housing Bill also raises the debt ceiling by $800 billion might be a clue.
