And he did what in the State Senate? I know many State Senators here, mostly Democrats, and I am utterly unimpressed as a whole. Not at all. I'm asking what experience he has that qualifies him to be President. Well let's see, I'm not a McCain devotee but...since you're so high on "experience," you know that McCain has been in Congress for a very long time, while Obama has all of two years, right?.....I don't believe McCain has admitted to drug use or thrown his grandmother under the bus in a biography, so that probably detracts from his street cred....He flew jets, saw action in Vietnam, and was shot down. He was a POW for six years, underwent unimaginable torture, and refused to "confess" when doing so may have meant an early ticket home. Now, I know all of that doesn't compare at all to feeling uncomfortable at a party with some rich private school white kids in high school. That traumatic experience in itself qualifies Obama to command our armed forces, of course...that's just for starters. But hey, don't take my word for it. Biden himself said during the primaries that BO isn't ready to lead this country. Biden: "I think he can be ready, but right now I don't think he is. The Presidency is not something that lends itself to on the job training." Surely you trust the judgement of the Democrat VP nominee, don't you?
Hey, TDog's the one saying Obama would be considering all these views. If Obama is decisive and so sure of his stances, why would he need to listen to all these different views? Have you and TDog consulted on this issue yet? TDog, do you hold dual citizenship? If you do, in which country would you prefer to have your serious medical problems taken care of, especially those that come on suddenly?
Well that's fair. If you aren't impressed by his experience therefore he doesn't have any. I heard, McCain was a POW and a Senator. How does this qualify him to be president? You must have been particularly happy with the performance of the government for the last 30 years while McCain has held office. Biden obviously feels that Obama is ready now. But getting back to McCain, other than government work, what experience does he have?
I can't speak for him, but I'd rather have my health care taken care of by the country where the outcomes and comparable to the US, which has longer life expectancy, and where I don't have to pay out of pocket for catastrophic care or lose my insurance coverage for an existing condition.
"But getting back to McCain, other than government work, what experience does he have?" He crashed 5 planes...
Question? Are you just another stupid fuck who is here to be an argumentive CUNT? Convicted? He was freed by prosecution error. If nothing else he could've been tried for aiding and abetting a fugitive. In case you don't know hiding your wife while she's wanted (and she DID plead guilty to reduced charges) is a Federal crime. With the statute of limitations now expired he's freely ADMITED to setting off several bombs. Actually me and Ayers are more alike than not. He said "Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, kill your parents, that's where it's really at." That's want I want to do to left wingers. http://www.slate.com/id/1008160/ Bill Ayers then and now.
Please tell me that you're not that daft. Bush made his decisions in a vacuum, and look how well he did and what a "leader" he is. (Have you been snorting gym socks lately?) Judging by your comment, I'm guessing that you have always been told what to do, and never held a position in any meaningful decision-making capacity.
Not at all. Nice dodge attempt. I'm asking you what Obama did as a State Senator that qualifies him for the Presidency. You're the one that brought it up. Well, not sure if you knew this, but the reason he was a POW is because he was a Naval aviator. He has military experience. Leadership experience. Please refresh my memory, but what kind of military experience does Obama have? Come to think of it, what kind of LEADERSHIP experience does Obama have? I don't think being editor of a school paper qualifies, do you? You mean the past 30 years that has seen several Democratic administrations? To answer your question, no, not particularly, but some have been better than others... Amazing, isn't it, how upon being named the VP candidate, Biden has done a 180 and thinks BO isn't only ready now, but there's noone better?!? It would appear McCain has devoted his adult life to government work. In case you haven't noticed, the President heads the Executive Branch of the GOVERNMENT. So it's kind of important, don't you think? And I'm assuming you're counting those six years of torture and hell to be "government work," too. But what is that compared to two years of Congressional experience that Obama has, right?
For the sake of GOD will you just shut the fuck up you LoZZZER. 'Vacuum"? Do you just write bullshit for the sake of feeding your idiocy. Rumsfeld, Cheney, Wolfowitz, Feith, Perle, Shulsky , Abrahms, Rice........
