Oh I see, your man Barry IS decisive and sure of his policies, but in order to be magnanimous and a fair and just leader, he's STILL going to consider everyone's views. Got it, thanks for clearing that up, TDog!! As for Bush, gee, I thought Bush was too dumb to make any decisions of his own, let alone in a vacuum. Don't Cheney, Rove, and the oil barons script everything for him? What flavor of KoolAid you sipping now?
Eat my shorts, boyo. If I want shit from you, I'll squeeze your head. Yes, a vacuum. He surrounded himself EXCLUSIVELY with like-minded people. Anyone who disagreed with his "vision" found himself out of the loop or out of a job. Pabst, you have truly revealed yourself for the low-brow, barely literate bigot that you are. If you couldn't get into government during the Bush administration, I wouldn't hold my breath going forward if I were you. Then again, perhaps you should. Hold your breath, that is. I have often disagreed with your opinions in the past, but it was never personal. Well, I guess things have changed after your exceptionally offensive and ugly side began to emerge. I have nothing but contempt for you and for people like you. You disgust me and represent everything that is wrong with a country that is capable of so much better.
Canadians get so passionate about US politics, don't they? Then they read Daily Kos, bookmark MoveOn, buy all the Al Franken books, and suddenly they're flies on the wall in the Oval Office. I think we need to outsource our intellligence agency operations to the Canadians. Many countries wouldn't dislike us so much, that's for sure.
Please make no mistake, hapaboy, it is people like you that the rest of the world is laughing at (not with). If this is a source of pride for you, then you have much to be proud of. Carry on.
You might be interested in another thread here entitled "Why are Republicans such a nasty bunch?" Well that's just wrong and Obama shouldn't associate with him. Except Obama was eight when this all happened, so the question has to be asked whether Obama even knew anything about this guy's background. I found that Obama did speak out against this when he got the chance, by the way. And are you willing to apply the same criteria to McCain and his campaign? For example, if one of McCain's top fundraisers not only was accused, but plead guilty to funding a terrorist group you'd also agree that McCain should not run for president? And unlike Obama, McCain was not eight years old. (Be very, very careful with your response here.)
Why would it matter? According to you, except for his experience he has no experience, and if you're not impressed by the experience it doesn't count. So clearly anything he did in the Senate wouldn't count. But okay, we'll just move on, here's some informaton about his experience in the state Senate: "Once elected, Obama gained bipartisan support for legislation reforming ethics and health care laws.[29] He sponsored a law increasing tax credits for low-income workers, negotiated welfare reform, and promoted increased subsidies for childcare.[30] In 2001, as co-chairman of the bipartisan Joint Committee on Administrative Rules, Obama supported Republican Governor Ryan's payday loan regulations and predatory mortgage lending regulations aimed at averting home foreclosures,[31] and in 2003, Obama sponsored and led unanimous, bipartisan passage of legislation to monitor racial profiling by requiring police to record the race of drivers they detained and legislation making Illinois the first state to mandate videotaping of homicide interrogations.[30][32] In January 2003, Obama became chairman of the Illinois Senate's Health and Human Services Committee when Democrats, after a decade in the minority, regained a majority.[36] During his 2004 general election campaign for U.S. Senate, police representatives credited Obama for his active engagement with police organizations in enacting death penalty reforms.[37] Obama resigned from the Illinois Senate in November 2004 following his election to the US Senate.[38] Yes, I agree, leading a few dozen pilots is leadership experience. So that's one thing -- except that's government work and I asked what experience outside the government McCain has had. But I absolutely agree that McCain has some experience. Unlike you I don't feel the need to pretend that he has no experience. Well for that answer you'll have to ask Biden. Unlike you I'm less concerned about the interpersonal conflicts and more concerned about policy differences. Certainly McCain has more experience in the Senate than Obama. Whereas Obama has more experience both in and outside of government than McCain.
I doubt some nice kid living the good life in Hawaii is too concerned about some Euro-trash socialist "laughing" at him. And being that Hap is Asian-American and given that Asians DIG us he most certainly takes unique pride in his citizenship.
